I watched a movie recently on TV – A Christmas Carol – based on a novel by Charles Dickens (1843). Ebenezer Scrooge was a rich but very stingy man who criticised every thing related to Christmas. This left him with no friends or family. He was a miserable man with only his money coins to keep him company. Then one day a change came over – a realisation that there was more to life than riches. That day onwards he was transformed into a very generous person. He found an inner peace which he never had with all the wealth he possessed.
This Christmas let us bury our hatred, selfishness and greed and wrap our Christmas presents with love and kindness. Get a new heart this Christmas.
