Mariette Josephine Christine Ross nee Correia was raised in a tight knit family mainly by her mother and two elder siblings, having lost her father when she was only six. In spite of a childhood devoid of luxuries Mariette grew up to be a loving, generous, confident, strong and independent woman of many talents. While in India she was a professional working as a secretary in a multimillion dollar international pharmaceutical firm. After migrating to Australia she dedicated herself to raising her children and using her many talents in dressmaking and cake decoration to supplement her family income. She also ran a successful family day care business for many years until she decided to pursue a new career as a Mental Health Professional in which she currently works.

With her deep religious faith she has dealt with all of life’s challenges in a graceful manner. The story of her life will undoubtedly make you believe that if you hold on to your values and self belief you can overcome any challenge just as she has.
